CIA Rendition Program Utilized by Clinton

What will the New York Times say about this?

Former US President Bill Clinton was the first to use the CIA's rendition program to capture, transfer and question terror suspects on foreign soil, a former US counterterrorism agent has revealed.

"President Clinton, his national security advisor Sandy Berger and his terrorism advisor Richard Clark ordered the CIA in the autumn of 1995 to destroy Al-Qaeda," Michael Scheuer, a 22-year veteran of the CIA who resigned from the agency in 2004, told Thursday's issue of the German newsweekly Die Zeit, reported Agence France Presse (AFP) Wednesday, December 28.

"We asked the president what we should do with the people we capture. Clinton said 'That's up to you'."

As I recall, Berger and Clark were two of the biggest bad mouthers of Bush. Now where are they. Has anyone checked Sandy "Burglar's" pants for papers concerning this program Clinton ran?

He's been slapped on the wrist. Don't you think that's punishment enough?

Classic liberal hypocrisy. It's just easier to point the finger at Bush now and crow "let's not look back at the past, let's concentrate on how Bush is screwing up."

I'd bet money and vital parts of my anatomy that we've been doing this kind of thing since before Vietnam. Only thing is, now we talk about it.

Clinton, Hillary, and Berger should be long time guests of the Federal prison system, not frequent features of the MSM.
