America as a Nightmare

That is quite pathetic.
Maybe they could compare the two countries' economic growth or unemployment stats.

I found rank and file Germans had a strong socialist bent, were quite convinced they were superior to everyone else, and had more than their share of sexual perversions. They also demonstrated a proclivity for public drunkeness and urination.
The Germans I met who were my (then) age group- teens, early 20s- were quite possibly some of the silliest, most un-serious people I had ever met.
