Connecticut Democratic Primary Today
For those of you who live in my home state, and who are registered Democrats, it's time to do your civic duty and vote. (No, I'm not a registered Democrat, thank you very much.)
The big question today, of course, is who will win the nod for the Senate race in November: incumbent Joe Lieberman or newcomer Joe Lamont, who has gotten a big push from the blogosphere. Lamont's headline-making lead from last week has shrunk to a few points (I figured it would), and today's race will be tight. I confess I have no idea as to who might come away the winner.
Don't forget that Democrats are also looking to pick their nominee to run against Governor Jodi Rell: Joe DeStefano and Dan Malloy. Both seem to favor big government social programs, so I honestly don't think it matters which one of them wins.
Well Democrats, it's your time in the sun. Enjoy it while you can!
