What Mandate?
So the Dems think November 2006 gave them a mandate to cut and run in Iraq? Think again. Investor's Business Daily shows some interesting poll results. Take special note of the percentages by party:
To quote the IBD editorial: We'd have to go back to Benedict Arnold to find Americans as eager as Murtha & Co. to see an American defeat on the battlefield.
Pathetic.

I saw this at Powerline, too. It's a great editorial that pulls no punches. If it's true, then the Dems are liars (of course) about their defeatism representing 'the will of the American people.'
Consider: During the Vietnam years, half the country was up in demonstrations and riots. The Dems say Iraq is no different.
And yet it is, of course. Especially on the national scene: only the Dems, their Leftist supporters, and the MSM are chanting for American defeat. The rest of the country: well, Pam's AT essay and this editorial may tell the real story.
What American want to see his country in defeat? (a question for John Murtha)

very sad...
can we turn them away in 2008?
Posted by: hnav at February 20, 2007 08:37 AMMore than the pantywaist, tantrum-throwing, up-spitting, Gerber-throwing, bedwetting, diaper-soiling intellectual two-year-olds of the Democrat party (for they are what they are and they won't change), I am disappointed with Bush's tolerance of these traitors. Where the heck is the DOJ? Impeach Murtha now!
