An Open Letter to George Bush, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, et al

My blogging friend Reverse Vampyr wrote an open letter to our Republican leaders who are backing the amnesty bill. Brilliant:

Stop with the ridiculous posturing and harumphing. ENFORCE THE LAWS WE ALREADY HAVE before you dare to ask us for 4.4 BILLION DOLLARS to fund new laws you know you'll never enforce.

It's disgusting enough that the Republican party has been asleep at the wheel when it comes to illegal immigration. But it turns my stomach to watch as you get in bed with the likes of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senator Ted Kennedy as you attempt to transmogrify 20 million lawbreakers into legal voters.
