Deport Them Now
Who? Illegal aliens who commit other crimes. Hot Air has a public service announcement about it here.
Close off the borders and secure them. Deport illegals who commit other crimes while on our soil. Then we can deal with the others. Hello? Congress? Mr. President?
Is anyone in Washington listening?

Not to be cynical, but if they have already gotten here once, how are we going to keep them out again? I say tag 'em just like an endangered species so we can always find 'em again.
Posted by: Two Dogs at July 18, 2007 11:21 AMArizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio (of tent prison fame) has teamed up with ICE to form a special "illegal immigrant interdiction strike force" -- a team of 72 Maricopa County sheriff's deputies who have been cross-trained by ICE. They are using Arizona's anti-smuggling laws to arrest and convict both human smugglers and the "smugglees," giving them a 4-year prison sentence (in the tent jail) before deportation. Might be a good deterrent.
Phoenix police are also partering with ICE agents to co-investigate other crimes that may be committed by illegal immigrants.
And Houston police are still driving around with their hands tied due to the city's unofficial "sanctuary city" policies. Aarrrggh!

Posted by: Ro at July 19, 2007 12:20 PMDeport who, many Americans like myself and my whole family have volunteerily left the U.S. and moved to other countries like Canada, Italy, English, Franch, India, etc. Many of us are very happy in the other countries, since they don't preach "Family First" they just live it!!
Enough with the propaganda the U.S. preaches, always pushing that we are the best country to be from. Why? I ask, we don't take care of our people, environment or even our military when they come back from the wars. We are major hypocrits!!!
Who are we to say to close the borders, when other countries keep it open for us.
Life is too short to be worried about immigrants, they are not taking our jobs, the jobs are just going over seas... Wake up, it's a Global Economy and the world revolves around the changes, therefore, we have to adapt and stop the complaining.....

Lets see.. They are only taking jobs that americans won't do. Wrong! The fact is, americans can't afford to do those jobs for $5.00-$6.00 per hour that should pay $9.00-$12.00 per hour because we americans do not live in a single family residence with two or three other familys.
If the average american knew how many violent criminal ilegals were here right now the hair on the back of their necks should stand up.
Also the number of child rapes and murders commited by Ilegals is stagering. Not to mention the number of our good police officers shot dead on the side of the interstate by drug smuggling Ilegals. Violent crimes in all commited by Ilegals in the United States is just plain mind boggling!
It's just like the war on drugs our government started 20 years ago. Our country's drug problem is worse than it has ever been in our history and is also the root cause of probably 70% of all violent crimes in this country.
The only solution to the drug problem is either legalize it or impose the death sentence if caught smuggling drugs into this country. It's that simple really. Either of the two would work very well.
