Better Late Than Never, Katie Couric
My latest over at Family Security Matters:
Believe me; it’s tempting to suggest that Couric’s trip is a desperate attempt to revive her show’s stagnant ratings. But even if that’s true, we must give credit where it’s due. For journalists traveling to Iraq, there is always an inherent risk involved, even though they are provided with the best security available. And when a journalist with Couric’s well-documented liberal credentials (and cushy, high-profile job) not only risks her safety by traveling to a war-torn city but actually admits that things are going better than hoped – well, yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

Seems Katie has seen the FNC ratings and thought - Hey, my ratings can't get any worse than they are now, maybe if I sound like the only growing network I can keep my job.
