Fitna the Movie -- English Version Now Online

The movie that the world has been waiting for...some more eagerly than others...is available for online viewing. It went online in the Netherlands on Wednesday. An English version is now available, and Jihad Watch has it...click here.

For more background on the film's release, check out this piece on Pajamas Media today.

I have not seen it yet, and plan to watch it tonight. However, judging by the comments left on the Jihad Watch post linked above, it's a compelling piece that accomplishes much in just 15 minutes. Geert Wilders is being criticized by his countrymen for shaking the beehive, but if he and the few other brave souls who speak out against Islamofascism don't, who will?

I hope this comment doesn't disappoint you, but I was terribly disappointed after watching the movie or clip, I should say. There is nothing new there and it contains only stuff that has been hashed and rehashed in the mainstream media, so from that you can know that it is absolutely non-controversial.

The build-up did not fit the final product, but the Religion of Peace will cough up their collective Third-Century skulls.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll still check it out, though. It'll be interesting to see if the Religion of Peace has a collective conniption over the film if it is indeed just a rehash of stuff we've already seen. Apparently, though, there are quotes from the Koran throughout. Maybe that will be enough to push them over the edge?

Such civilized folk. Like when Christians around the world rioted and murdered over Piss Christ and Elephant Dung Madonna...oops, forgot, that didn't happen.

I've watched it a few times and think it's ok. I agree with Two Dogs, there's nothing really new there. Certainly not worth all the uproar. However, I think the acerbic response proves Wilders' point: radical Islam is intolerant and dangerous. And the controversy helps draw attention to the facts yet again. Perhaps eventually they'll sink in.

I've already heard from a critic who seemed trying to throw out the proverbial baby with the bathwater due to an error in the film: Wilders' mistakenly showed the face of Dutch-Moroccan rapper Salah Edin instead of Mohammed Bouyeri (the scumbag who slaughtered Theo Van Gogh for criticizing Islam). I posted the two pics to show the similarities and hope it was an honest mistake. Wilders should edit the film to correct the mistake and issue an apology to Edin.
