Linda McMahon enters the Ring
It is not enough on our part to keep pointing out the follies of the current "regime." We need to start advancing positive agendas, illustrate the ideas that will move us forward from the foetid atmosphere currently surrounding us, and promote the people who need promoting.
Linda McMahon is one of the challengers to Chris Dodd for the Senate in 2010. This is not an endorsement at this time - but her initial message is worth putting out there:
"Chris Dodd has lost his way. He's helped engineer trillions in new spending and staggering new debt. He wants to ram through government-run health care that will mean longer lines, nationed care, and the end of the protected doctor-parent relationship. He's helped himself and the special interests - at our expense - through his back room deals, political favors, and sweetheart home loans. Connecticut deserves a Senator that isn't bought or paid for by the banks and special interests. The era of favors and back room deals must end.
He's lost our trust. It's time for him to go - Linda
