News About Iraq You Won't Hear From the MSM
One of my business contacts in the Midwest sends this bit from a conversation with one of her co-workers:So this soldier decided to go back to Iraq rather than to Hawaii because we're "making a difference."Someone was talking about a neighbors son who was home for 2 weeks from Iraq. He said it is so sad, the children can not speak a bit of English, but know how to say Thank you and everyday they come out and pull at the American soldiers and cry and tell them Thank you, Thank you. He also said the children and woman are now starting to walk the streets, they are not afraid now that the soldiers are there. The soldier said he had to go back to Iraq because they are really making some headway, the media does not report on that though. He said have one free hour a night and alot of the soldiers try to teach the children how to play baseball. One little boy was walking by as a ball was hit in the air and this little boy hit the ground and covered his head, he thought the ball was a bomb. I tell you, I can't imagine the fear they have.
This guy could go back to Hawaii and finish out the rest of his duty, but wants to go back to Iraq to help out those children.............I almost bawled when I heard this story.......... This man will definitely be met at the pearly gates.............
It'd be nice if we heard stories like this from the New York Times, the paper of "record."
