Sanctuary Cities: Flipping the Bird to Federal Law and American Citizens

The idea that coming and going across the border as you please is a “right” is also being bandied about. Kirsten Powers, a Democrat political analyst who is a regular guest on Fox News, recently claimed on “The O’Reilly Factor” that it is indeed a “human right.” This assertion is patently ridiculous. As a sovereign nation, the U.S. has the right to decide who may share in, and contribute to, our collective experience. Like a home, there is a front door. Immigrants who seek entrance must knock, and our laws determine which knocks are answered.
