No Brainer: Europeans Prefer Obama to McCain

Whoda thunkit?

080723ObamaTrip1_j7b4f1.gif

Didn't they prefer Kerry to Bush back in 2004? Remind me again how that worked out.

Once again, Europeans think that it's their frakking business whom we elect president here in the U.S. They look down their collective noses, tut tutting at our boorishness, our bullishness, our cultureless culture, our lack of historical stature...whatever it is they can think of. Yet they're happy for us to do things like pay most of the UN's dues and shoulder the financial and man-power burden of their defense so that they can spend their money on their cradle-to-grave social programs. And if there's some kind of natural disaster, they complain if US aid doesn't arrive fast enough or isn't as generous as they believe it should be.

I'd be more than happy to pull our soldiers out of Germany and other European countries. Any missiles still there? Bring them home too. (Let's stay in Poland; Poland is a true friend that needs and appreciates our help.) And next time there's a tsunami or major earthquake, let's see how they like it if we snap the pocketbook shut. After all, when we have a natural disaster here (most recently, flooding in the Midwest that the media has already forgotten about), the rest of the world couldn't care less.

Just like bratty teenagers who hate Mom and Dad one minute but are asking for the car and gas money the next, Europeans disdain America because they think they know better than we do about everything.

Time for them to put their money where their mouths are.

It's sad that instead of trying to recover their squandered greatness, Europeans want to see America dragged down to their current level of socialist moonbat mediocrity.

Americans are damned if we do or don't. I don't particularly give a rat's a$$ about what Europeans think about Americans. Their time in the sun is done. It's ONLY thanks to a few hundred thousand American lives that they have the life they have now.

This comment is exactly why most Europeans are not found of Americans. The loud and self centerd tourists, who want McDonalds and ice water and stay in a 5* American hotel chain and don't know anything about history, culture of others. The ones who think they help the world so much, but in fact America gives the lowest amount in aid as a percentage of the GDP within the western world. Insted of praising yourself so much, only talk when you have something to say. But narrow minded, conservative, racist Americans think if they are loud enough, it means they are right.

Remember how that worked out?

Bush stole the election and continued his illegal war. They declared a terror alert in Cincinnati so they could exclude the press from observing the vote counting and then rescinded it the moment they were done.

Most of the US aid you are talking about comes from private citizens, but as you are intentionally conflating private and government resources (ironic, as most alleged conservatives these days do the same thing) I don't really have to tell you that. Hey, did you look up the numbers on international donations for disaster relief?

Europeans don't dislike US, as in me and my fellow Americans, they dislike ignorant pigs like yourself who think they should get to push their idiocy on the world because we have a few more nukes than they have. Meanwhile our infrastructure is falling apart because it's not on the priority list. Even without social services (and just as facts show that the economy does better under democrats it also shows that quality of life is better in times when social services are not neglected) you can get a bridge built in Iraq in 1/100th the time you can get the same job done here.

You're right, though, they don't like you. Because you're a boorish brainless would-be-bully and douchebag aligning yourself with the people that have screwed things up so much for the entire globe that nobody really cares what our country thinks anymore.

I was going to comment, but Lowry99 said it!

Except for the fact that Poland has fallen to crap twice as fast since those jewish twins took over the government. They're only friendly because of that "love israel" mentality.
