Lamest Excuse Ever
The Blame Bush syndrome has hit a new low. Sean Penn says the "stress of living under the current administration" is at fault for his inability to quit smoking at an Out of Iraq forum in Sacramento over the weekend. Chalk one up for the current culture of victimhood. Goodness only knows if he contracts lung cancer, he'll name President Bush as a co-defendant with the tobacco companies.
He also made a strangely contradictory comment at the blessed event:
Stating that he "was not a pacifist on the inside", he was moved to be one on the outside for the sake of his children and grandchildren's future. He said we have to fight for everything we have.
A guy who's not a pacifist on the inside who is one on the outside who has to fight for everything we have?
Sheesh.

I guess he blames Bush for "The Interpreter" as well?
